No one is ever going to rescue you.
No one else will do the hard work for you.
No one will ever be in your corner rooting for you.
Anything you do you will have to do alone.
And the same people who said that you couldn’t do it
Will say, “I knew you could,” when it is all over.
There will be no applause, no handshake.
You won‘t be carried into the clubhouse on the shoulders of
your team mates,
Because you don’t have any teammates.
You don’t even belong to a team.
You don’t belong to anything, anywhere.
And yet, you are alive.
You are not in any particular pain and don’t have any
debilitating fears,
So why not work hard anyway?
What else do you have to do?
