Emotional certainty is not truth.

Truth is verifiable,

Emotional certainty is not.

The Greatest Tai Chi Master

Philosophy of War

"The greatest Tai Chi master has never fought a single battle." - Anon.

The basis of the fighting style Tai Chi and especially Akido is (in my understanding) redirecting the opponents energy and not being at the place where he tries to attack you.  Avoid the conflict before it ever occurs.  If you can achieve your goals without direct conflict then that is the best solution.

Three Thousand a Day

https://www.madinamerica.com/2017/04/anti-authoritarian-options-for-suicidal-anti-authoritarians/

In the above article the author states that for every successful suicide there are 25 unsuccessful attempts.  If there are an average of 123 successful suicides EVERY SINGLE DAY in USA America, that mean there are 25 x 123 = 3075 suicide attempts EVERY SINGLE DAY in the USA America.

Every single day over three thousand people try to kill themselves in the USA.

FACT.

3,000 people attempt suicide every day in the USA.
3075 x 365 = 1,122,375 attempts a year.
About one of every 300 people in the USA.

Who cares?

Who really cares?

Do they matter to you?

Sadness.

The Second Coming of DADA

The Second Coming of DADA.

DADA was born in Zurich, Switzerland in 1916 in the Cabaret Voltaire. Hugo Ball, George Grosz, Hans Arp, Marcel Duchamp, Andre Breton, and many other were in attendance. Just a few years later in 1923, the unbelievable happened and Tristan Tzara announced the death of DADA. It was gone forever and the world was grieved at the loss. Nonsense would never be as sophisticated and philosophical and downright "naughty" ever again.

This was the birth of real tragedy.

But then, delusional voices of supernatural comedy informed me that DADA will be reborn. This is unbelievable. There will be a second coming of DADA and nonsense will once again reign supreme. This is a glorious new day to the logically challenged and perennially depressed. Finally we can cry with liberated falsehood and hope that someone brings free bread and wine to the picnic, or at least some salted crackers. Sharpen your six packs gentlemen, and dull your sensibilities to join the marvelous and mischievous mayhem. Be sure to charge your cell phone first. It is bound to happen any day now, and we must be prepared. So, punch a lock and pack your socks. You just wait and see...  DADA will be reborn,  DADA will rule again.

DADA will rule again.

(Remember to wash your teeth afterwards)

Keep Building Walls

It is a curious fact that one of the indicators of civilization in the fossil record is the existence of walls and fences. A significant defining characteristic of human civilization is the wall. It is my theory that early humans built walls and fences for thousands of years before someone finally got the bright idea to connect the walls with a roof and make a building.

One of the main conflicts between Native Americans and European Settlers is that in Native American agriculture there were no fences in the fields. When Europeans brought the pig to America, these pigs dug up all the Native American crops. When the Native Americans complained, they were told by the Europeans, "Build a fence."  This was in James town circa 1620. Check your history. This was one of the main conflicts that lead to the famous "Jamestown Massacre" of 1622.

Don't get Tattoo

"Just a thought: If you do not have a tattoo, don't get one. Tattoos help to trap your spiritual essence in space and time and prevent you from eventually becoming a luminous space being. Even a small tattoo will act as a "ball and chain" in this manner and hold you back from your possible transformation." - Dr. Tony Bravado

In the book "Amazon Beaming" the author accompanied an Amazon tribe journeying back to the beginning of time. Part of the process was getting rid of all earthly possessions because these objects trap you in this time and space. The author Petru Popescu, who is actually credited with DISCOVERING the source of the Amazon River, saw the source of the Amazon from hundreds of miles away in a vision during a hallucinogenic ritual with the same Amazon tribe during that migration.

Ironically, these were the Mayoruna Indians, or cat people, They wear quills as whiskers and practice some ritual tattooing

DADA collage art

Comment on a video about DADA collage art

In my opinion, the fact that we have not seen this brilliant DADA collage art reproduced in books and periodicals in the USA is a subtle and unconscious capitalist conspiracy of art dealers, bankers, paint manufacturers, Sunday school teachers, and "serious minded people" from all walks of life.  Besides their avid dislike of nonsense and talk about the meaninglessness of life, they are characterized by good personal hygiene, night blindness, and an absolute lack of imagination.  They can also be characterized by a love of following the rules, folding laundry, and organizing the sock drawer. DADA presents an inherent threat to these people's ideal of a well organized and clean, sanitary life because DADA follows no rules.  Too bad.  DADA is no napkin ring.  DADA is no postage stamp.   DADA is a 10K gold pocket watch with phosphorescent rocket flares, elastic suspenders, and a secret fire proof stairway to the third floor security apartment. Beware conformity.

History of the Middle East

If you study history you will find a curious fact. The present boundaries in the Middle East were effectively drawn by Great Britain after she won the territory from Turkey in WWI. In 1926 Oil was discovered. In 1927 Lawrence of Arabia presided over a panel of Arab Chieftains and Mid East political leaders that drew up the current boundaries. Kuwait was invented to prevent Iraq from having access to the Sea. Through Britain's influence -- All the national boundaries were drawn through the center of major population groups. This was intentional. The effect of this was to cause every created country to have populations with two major cultural traditions or more. This was intentionally designed to create permanent political instability and conflict, because the political instability makes it EASIER to get the oil inexpensively. It is easier to bribe, con, and manipulate unstable governments.

Anti-Reality glasses

There is a new immersive viewing experience looming on the horizon of technological development:

Anti-Reality

This is similar to the common version of Virtual Reality with a few significant changes.  The most significant change is that instead of putting images into your mind, the machine actually removes images from you mind and while it does, you move back in time.  You literally go back in time.  Your memory is erased and you become younger as you move back through time.  You get to "start over" in an entirely new space time matrix.  The possibilities are endless.

The technology is still in its infancy and caution is recommended.  In one interesting "underground" version of the game, users age themselves to back before they are born, and they literally disappear in this space and time.  To prevent this and other abuses the manufacturers have added many safety controls to the game.   Of course, people are trying to bypass these limits, but if used correctly the game presents no more danger that hunting wild elephants with a Bowie Knife or sky diving in a lightning storm.

Another interesting "underground" version of the game promotes 'hyper-aging,' where daring gamers are taken to just moments before their own death.  This practice can be highly addictive and very dangerous.

Anti-Reality clubs are forming all over the country with some interesting developments.  It seems that most of the members are teenagers or young adults, but there are a few underground senior citizens groups.  This is an exciting new technology that has many potentially legitimate applications in medicine, law, and science.

Importance of the Synchronometer

"I blame my bad decision making on the fact that my 'Synchronometer' is misaligned and the stasis flux of creative decision making is out of calibration with the probability flow in the direction of positive ionization on the stereotypical curvature of luck in the graph of freedom.  Hence, my continual encounter with vertical brick walls and long, dead end tunnels and the inevitable salt water cave art in the abandoned prisons of my youth.  I could be in denial about this and also about the prevalence of ancient pig iron foundries buried beneath the glaciers in Antarctica, but I think the 'Synchronometer' is a vital piece of functioning psychic extremity and its importance cannot be underestimated."- Whizz Kidder

Marijuana or cigarettes

Marijuana is much less toxic or physically damaging than either alcohol or cigarettes. Furthermore, there may be beneficial "anti-aging" properties to THC itself.

Of course, it is better to be able to enjoy life without any "enhancements" but that might be difficult in the economically streamlined, maximum production, "assembly line" world we live in.

I smoked marijuana heavily in college and quit for two years, once I moved to Los Angeles. During that time I noticed dramatic symptoms of increased aging -- primarily increase in amount of hair and rate of hair growth on my body. Today I am almost 60 years old, but routinely play roles that require a 40 year old person. I am just starting to turn gray and I have all my hair. It is impossible to say what factors were an influence, but some of my non-smoking friends think it is the marijuana in addition to anti-oxident vitamins and a "mostly" vegan diet.

One big difference between cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke is that Nicotine has a "hook" in the physical structure of the molecule. This geometry actually "hooks into" fabric and soft tissues. That is what causes cigarette smoke to linger in fabrics and that is what causes lung cancer -- the hook. THC does not have the same geometry and does not "hook into" lung tissue. This is why marijuana smoke dissipates and does not linger in fabrics like cigarette smoke does.

Aside from that, there are many different strains of tobacco and the one used by American cigarette manufactures is just one type. Apparently there are tobacco plants in the Amazon basin that the smoke is hallucinogenic and the shamans use that tobacco in their rituals. Either way, it is best not to smoke at all.
