Effective Communication

Definition:  "effective communication" (n)1. Exchange of information without emotional content added.

If someone is absolutely sure of the truth and accuracy of their information, they never add emotional content.

For example, no one argues about gravity, or the existence of gravity.  Nobody disputes the physical composition and placement of the Sun,  Moon, or planets.   No one argues about arithmetic results or multiplication tables.   Nobody argues about protons and electrons, and yet, no one on Earth has even seen an electron.  Nobody debates Oxygen, and yet no one has seen, or smelled, or tasted Oxygen that they are aware of.

It seems that the degree to which people get angry or emotional about the information they are sharing, is the degree to which they do not really believe it themselves.
