As part of the Parking Lot
Lecture Series, our company is proud to announce a lecture and demonstration at
5:00 pm today by Dr. I. M. Slacker from the Neuro-Psychological Institute. The
title of today's lecture is:
"Increased Productivity versus Increased Creativity! How we can tell the difference when contemplating the subtle effects of psychoactive chemicals on the thought processes in the ordinary digital artist's brain."
The lecture will take place entirely in your imagination and will be proceeded by a special "hands on" lab session in the automobile of your choice. Since seating is limited, reservations are suggested. There is a small materials fee for lab equipment.
Dr. Slacker has had a long and illustrious career in and out of the film industry as a critic, consultant, and commentator. He did his undergraduate work at State University and after printing his own B.S. degree, did graduate work in the Student Union and Library Vending Room. His efforts attracted notice and he was soon offered a post in the fence
surrounding the athletic field. A year later he began his professional career with the publication of the seminal, "Why Work when you can Get Grant Money?" This was soon followed by "Give me your Money and I'll Write a Book". Numerous essays, articles, and public appearances soon followed.
Ten years ago, Dr. Slacker's work entered a new phase when he became interested in contributing to the intellectual and moral foundation of the Film Industry. This lecture is the result of many years of selfless research into one of the fundamental questions of life: "Who has the lighter?"
We hope you find the workshop interesting and enlightening. As always, your comments are most appreciated if you keep them to yourselves.

Please Note: Today’s lecturer
is Dr. Ignacio Monterey Slacker. He is
not to be confused with his uncle, Dr. Emeritus Bean Slacker, a renowned
researcher into probability theory adjustments as manifested in real world
environments such as the gambling casino or the back room dice game. Dr. E. B. Slacker’s work gained increasing
notoriety in the 1970's as video surveillance was finally able to fully
document his procedures. A particularly daring experiment at Harrah's in the
early 1980's was a media sensation until his capture by the Nevada State Police
two months later. Dr E. B. Slacker is currently serving a 20 year sentence as
Dean of Applied Mathematics in the Nevada State Prison.
