During the six month lead up to the Iraq war, I would lay awake at 3 AM and listen to the roar of "heavy" air traffic flying miles overhead. This was late at night, hours after the commercial air space had closed.
The sound was deeper and more raspy than commercial jets. It sounded like a huge convoy of transport planes carrying a cargo of heavy machinery, but i have no idea what it was.
I assumed these were Military flights headed for the Mid East. Listening to these flights, night after night, I "knew" that the USA was going to invade Iraq, months before it was officially decided.
Tonight, I was awakened at 3 AM by the same sound; of an air transport convoy roaring through the high altitude air space over Los Angeles. It makes me wonder again, "What is happening in the world?"
