Fifty percent of the freshman class at the University of Illinois in the college of Engineering in 1975 did not graduate, ever. They were "flunked out." This was an intentional device used by the college of Engineering to "weed out" inferior candidates and produce a premium crop of graduates. This was an intentional device used by the college of Engineering to destroy the possibility of a happy life for the majority of their students. Because even if you graduated, the experience was such a horror that you were not left with a stable emotional or social life. University of Illinois sucks.
