Optimal Human Food
1. "fruit and nuts and leaves from trees and vines"
2. "roots, seeds, grains, and berries"
Here is one way to think about it. Humans are only 200,000 years old. Two million years ago our ancestors evolved from proto-simians that evolved from monkeys living in trees for the previous 40 million years. Those monkeys ate "fruit and nuts and leaves from trees and vines." THAT is the optimal food for us.
Before those monkeys went up in the trees they evolved from little rat like creatures that dug up roots and ate seeds and grains. It was probably the root eating behavior that allowed them to survive the great die off and mass extinction of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago when an asteroid struck the Earth in the area that is now the Yucatan. The food we are also designed to eat is "roots, seeds, grains, and berries" in addition to "fruit and nuts and leaves from trees and vines."
3. "Only drink water"
THAT is what our body is most designed to consume. Meat and cheese and sugar and alcohol and fruit juice and milk are not on THAT list. This works well for me. You can read this idea a few times and then make up your own mind.
