Simple model of coronavirus Covid-19 distribution

Simple math model for the distribution of deaths in response to Covid-19.
Unfortunately, Covid-19 is highly contagious and there is no vaccine.

The fundamental death ratio in this model is .7 x .5 x .2 = .07
(reference: worldometers.info/coronavirus)

320,000,000 x .7 x .5 x .2 = 22,400,000

  1. 1. It is likely that more than half the population exhibits no symptoms. If 60 percent show no symptoms, then 40% get sick (instead of 50%). 2. The percentage with symptoms that die has been slowly dropping from a high of 21% to the current rate of 17%. It is likely that this number could really be 15% (instead of 20%). 3. In this case the equation becomes this: .7 x .4 x .15 = .042 (or 4.2% of total population will die).
