How to take a good photo

How to take a good photo

1. Think kindly of the subject and imagine them in their best possible manner.

2. Avoid direct sunlight.  Look for even lighting with no bright spots or shadows, perhaps in the shade of a building outdoors.

3. Find a plain background, a wall, a bush, or the side of a tent or truck.

4. Make sure the subject's hair looks good and their clothes hang naturally.

5. Be pleasant and encourage the subject to be comfortable.

6. Take at least five photos in different poses.  That way, at least one photo will be acceptable.

7. Move quickly and lightly.  Thank the subject when you hand the camera phone back to them.
