  1. The cybernetic Haiku is a modern poetic form that only consists of three unrelated nouns. It should be spoken slowly and seriously with each word enunciated thoughtfully and properly.

The cybernetic Haiku is not intended to have meaning in the traditional sense of the word (i.e. conveying accurate information between two parties). In fact it is preferable if the three nouns have as little connection, or relationship, as possible.

It is preferable to use nouns with multiple meanings, or that also function as adjectives or verbs.

It is preferable to use nouns that sound funny, or are fun to pronounce.

It is preferable to compose the poems spontaneously and write them down quickly before they are forgotten. But it is also possible to spend hours constructing the perfect three words, or days choosing the text.

The use of Names and Proper Nouns is discouraged, unless it is the name of a common consumer product or service, and even then it is discouraged.

Syllables are not counted and the nouns may be either a one syllable word or a multi word phrase.

The quality of the poem is not formalized and is largely intuitive. Extemporaneous composition or group performance are also appropriate forms of presentation. The grammatical structure also lends itself to a form of "Exquisite Corpse" where each of three participants choose a noun to form the resultant poem.

    The possibilities are infinite.
