Art
is not
a pretty picture,
or a pleasant scene.
Art is not
a portrait, a painting,
or a still life.
Art is a philosophical statement;
a mathematical proposition of balance and color and culture and meaning;
a concept to consider.
Art isn't even something to look at; really.
It is something to think about.
